NEW YORK CITY — Switch problems sparked subway delays along the A line while other problems caused further service disruptions on five other lines during Tuesday morning's rush-hour commute, the MTA said.
The A line was hobbled by problems at Ozone Park—Lefferts Boulevard, the MTA tweeted about 8 a.m.
#ServAdv: b/d, #A trains are running with delays, due to switch problems at Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd. Allow additional travel time.

At Broadway—Lafayette, similar issues were causing some delays along the F and J trains, the MTA said.
Queens-bound M trains were terminating at Chambers Street while Brooklyn-bound ones were ending at Second Avenue, the MTA said.
And an investigation at 157th Street prompted the MTA to suspend 1 trains between 145th Street and 168th Street while 3 trains were running local from 96th Street and Chambers Street, the MTA said.
Commuters meanwhile vented their frustration online.
Why do I pay $2.75 to ride the train when its always being held or delayed? #mta #nyproblems
