YORKVILLE — A new luxury tower that will include 47 below-market-rate apartments on East 92nd Street will include a teen room, an Equinox gym and a communal barbecue terrace, according to the developer and new renderings.
Related Companies, the developer of The Easton luxury rental tower, which opens to residents in May, released interior renderings of the 39-story tower currently under construction at 205 E. 92nd St. near Third Avenue, as well as additional details about amenities and pricing.
All residents will have access to a ninth floor terrace with barbecues and will get a discount at the multi-level Equinox within the building, according to a spokeswoman for Related. The discount has not been determined yet, she said.
If tenants choose to opt into a paid-amenity package, they'll also have access to a colorful, under-the-sea-themed children's room with a yellow submarine, a game room with billiards, and a teen room with computers and sound-proof music rehearsal rooms with Steinway & Sons pianos.

Related does not yet have a price set for the additional amenity plan.
Each apartment features custom oak cabinetry and oak wood flooring, walk-in closets, high ceilings and double-paned windows.
The renderings released of the inside of apartments show what the upper apartments will look like, but the affordable units will look similar in design, according to the spokeswoman.
While a regular one-bedroom is priced at $4,400 a month and a two-bedroom at $7,550, affordable housing lottery winners will pay as low as $607 or $769 per month, and $736 and $930 per month for a two-bedroom apartment.
The three- and four-bedrooms, which will not be available at below-market rate, begin on the 30th floor, and are priced $11,995 and $15,995.
The city's Department of Housing Preservation and Development accepted nearly 78,000 applicants for the 47 affordable apartments at The Easton this winter and is in the process of reviewing applications, according to officials.
The name of the tower was previously called The Henley, but the name was changed, though the reason for it was not immediately clear.

Residents living within Manhattan's Community Board 8 district are getting preference for 50 percent of the apartments and municipal employees are given preference for 5 percent. An additional 5 percent of the units will be set aside for those with mobility issues and 2 percent for those with visual or hearing impairments.
