MANHATTAN — God apparently had other plans for this online shopper.

A Hell's Kitchen resident who ordered a $6,000 Rolex from an online watch dealer got an unpleasant surprise when he received Bible and two textbooks in the mail instead, police said.

The 23-year-old resident of West 45th Street was at home around 2:30 p.m. on March 7 when a package from the online luxury watch marketplace Chrono24 arrived in the mail, he told police.

The package was supposed to contain a $6,000 Rolex watch he’d paid a private seller for through the website, he told police.

But when he opened it, he found only a Bible and two textbooks, police said.

The man reached out to the private seller, who said the packages had gotten mixed up, he told police.

But after he saw an advertisement for the Rolex he paid for still up on the Chrono24 website, he called the private seller from his girlfriend’s phone and was told the watch was still for sale.

The man told police he’d requested tracking and $6,000 insurance for the package, although it was not clear if he got his money back.

A representative for Chrono24.com on Monday said the case had "not come to the company's attention yet."
