CASTLE HILL — A burglar broke into a Bronx deli through the air vent to steal cigarettes and lottery tickets on Saturday, police said.

The suspect, who police have identified as 43-year-old man Omar Chineatorres, entered the deli at 676 Castle Hill Ave. roughly 5 a.m. using the roof air vent and snatched 20 boxes of Newport cigarettes and an unknown amount of lottery tickets before fleeing the scene, according to the NYPD.

Officers described Chineatorres as standing 5-foot-8 and weighing 128 pounds.

He was previously arrested earlier this year in The Bronx for petit larceny, according to police.
