HUNTERS POINT — Williamsburg bowling alley and bar The Gutter is expanding, with plans to open a second outpost in Long Island City this summer, its owner said.

The Gutter LIC, located at 10-22 46th Ave. in a former taxi garage, will be "very similar" to its original location just 2 miles away in Williamsburg, according to owner Todd Powers.

"The layout will be different," he said. "Otherwise we're going to try and keep it the same."

The new bowling alley will feature eight lanes — the same number as the Brooklyn location — as well as a full bar, Powers said.

They decided to expand to Queens after a more than two-year search for the right space, he said.

"A lot of it had to do with trying to find space that we could fit anything into," Powers said, calling the Hunters Point location "a dream for us" because of its proximity to nearby subway lines.

They're hoping to open in August, he said.
