INWOOD — A man was critically injured when he got into a fight with a group of people and was stabbed in the chest at an Inwood club Wednesday morning, police said.

The 38-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was at the Opus Lounge at 417 W. 202nd St., near 10th Avenue, about 4 a.m. when he and a group of other people started feuding, an NYPD spokesman said.

Someone stabbed the man in the chest, police said.

He was treated at The Allen Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition, the NYPD spokesman said Wednesday morning.

NYPD officials didn't know what sparked the fight or who was responsible. There were no immediate arrests, police said.

Opus, which offers live music and dancing, had hosted a show with Papa Secreto and Tempo earlier that night, according to the club's Instagram.
