COBBLE HILL — Winn Home & Beauty, a decades-old Court Street household shop that shuttered last fall, will be replaced by a New York Kids Club next year.

The space at 299 Court St. is slated to reopen in January 2017 as the center's new Cobble Hill location, according to its website.

New York Kids Club is a "premier children's enrichment center" with more than a dozen locations across the city.

The news was first reported by Pardon Me For Asking, which noted that the 2-story space would house five classrooms and a gym for children.

Programming and events at the Cobble Hill location will be similar to those available at other New York Kids Club locations, said Jenny Barzola, an assistant location manager.

The center, which will serve children ages two months to 12 years old, will also include play space for young kids, after-school programs, summer camps and birthday parties.

There will also be a preschool at the location.

Registration for the center's January opening will begin around September, Barzola said. Further details about the center were not immediately available.

Winn Home & Beauty announced last October that it would be closing its doors after 26 years in the neighborhood. The store sold everything from kitchen appliances to cleaning supplies.
