LOWER EAST SIDE — A woman was attacked after she confronted a teen who was trying to push over a port-a-potty in Corlears Hook Park, police said.
The 47-year-old victim was walking past the park on Feb. 26 at about 9:20 p.m. when she saw the 16-year-old attempting to shove over the portable bathroom.
When she told the teen to stop what he was doing, he threw the woman to the ground and kicked her on the head, leaving her with cuts and bruises, police said.
Police arrested the 16-year-old, who lives near the park, and charged him with misdemeanor assault.
