NEW YORK CITY — If you'd been fooled by last weekend's spring-like weather, you'd better dig out your snowboots.
More snow is forecast to hit the city Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The white stuff is expected to start falling about 6 p.m. Thursday until 6 p.m. Friday, according to forecasters.
The city will likely get about an inch of snow, with a possibility of up to three inches.
The Department of Sanitation issued an agency preparedness snow alert Wednesday "to prepare for a possible response by loading salt spreaders, attaching plows (if necessary), preparing tire chains and notifying other city agencies and supplementary personnel as needed."
