NEW SPRINGVILLE — Police arrested a man they said helped steal 200 pairs of underwear from the Victoria's Secret in the Staten Island Mall.

Anthony Ellsion, 28, of Port Richmond, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property for stealing the underwear, the NYPD said.

On Jan. 1, Ellsion allegedly walked into the Victoria's Secret in the mall and took 80 pairs of underwear, worth $1,000, while a woman who has yet to be found acted as a lookout, police said.

The pair returned to the store on Jan. 16 and took 120 pairs of underwear, worth $1,500, from inside, police said.

Ellsion was previously arrested in 2014 after he was accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of cosmetics from a Staten Island CVS with another woman, the Staten Island Advance reported.
