THE BRONX — A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death after getting into an argument with another man near Fordham University, according to police.
Witnesses told investigators the two men were fighting at the corner of Elm Avenue and Fordham Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The suspect then stabbed the man in the side of his torso and ran off.
The victim, whose identity had not been released by police as of Wednesday afternoon, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police were searching for the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
