NOLITA — Spring Street Natural is finally open at its new location on Kenmare Street.

The restaurant moved to 98 Kenmare St. between Cleveland Place and Mulberry Street after its landlord at 62 Spring St. tried to increase its rent to six times what they'd been paying.

"The neighborhood is changing," landlord Evelyne Wassman said at the time.

Owner Rustam Schoenfeld had said the restaurant would keep its name despite the relocation, but it's since been slightly tweaked to Spring Natural, as Eater first reported.

The restaurant closed while the new duplex space was renovated and finally opened for business on Feb. 19.

The new restaurant still serves favorites like the longstanding taco salad and almond-veggie burger, but adds a Wok Station, Eater reported.

The eatery prided itself on sourcing healthy and "natural" foods, making as much as possible in-house, for more than four decades, long before words like "locavore" and "paleo" ruled the New York food scene, as its website notes.

The menu is still driven by that ethos and changes regularly depending on supply. Recent and current dishes include Mongolian beef and broccoli, duck ropa vieja and Chinese broccoli, a Cuban panini and jerk chicken with collard greens.

New additions to the dessert menu include a mango cheesecake and a rum raisin brioche bread pudding with bourbon sauce and banana gelato.

Spring Street Natural is at 98 Kenmare St., 212-966-0290. Breakfast is served 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, lunch 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and dinner 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday the kitchen is open until 12:30 a.m. and brunch is served 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
