MANHATTAN — A man walking through Highbridge Park stumbled on a cooked horse head in a box Sunday morning, police said.
He spotted the box, which was also filled with fruits, vegetables and some soda, near Amsterdam Avenue and West 190th Street about 11 a.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
He notified police, but investigators don't suspect any criminality, the spokesman said.
It wasn't clear who brought the horse head into the park or why.
