TRAVIS — A woman used another person's identification to steal a package with a $2,800 dress inside from a UPS store, police said.

The suspect walked into the UPS service center at 1331 Travis Ave. shortly after noon on Dec. 30 and gave a worker the ID of a woman who's name was on the package, the NYPD said.

The woman then took the package with the dress inside and left the store, police said.

Police described the woman as between 20 and 30 years old, weighing about 250 pounds, last seen wearing a black jacket, white T-shirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
