MANHATTAN — The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is considered a coveted piece of New York real estate. Here are three at a rage of price points with open houses this weekend.

35-28 77th St., #31, Jackson Heights
Two Bedrooms/Two baths
Approximately 1,100 square feet
Co-op
$749,000
Maintenance: $1,300 a month
Open House: Sunday, Feb. 28, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Lowdown: The family selling this Jackson Heights co-op is moving due to an out-of-state business opportunity.

“Otherwise, they wouldn't move,” said Douglas Elliman broker Jon Fisher. “They're in love with the apartment.”

The two bedroom is located in Hawthorne Court, a co-op building in the historic district of Jackson Heights. It has a block-long, interior courtyard that's shared by residents.

The building's 1921 elevator, which has dark wood details and a sliding door, still operates. It opens directly into a small foyer in the apartment, according to Fisher.

“As soon as you step onto the elevator, you're inundated with a terrific old-world feeling,” he said.

The apartment boasts prewar details like a working fireplace, crown moldings and the original oak and walnut hardwood floors.

Because the owners “wanted to keep as much of the old as possible,” he said, they haven't made many interior changes. They did upgrade the kitchen a few years ago with new cabinets and appliances.

Both bedrooms are large enough to fit king sized beds, making this an ideal apartment for a family, Fisher said. The current owner has two children who share the second bedroom.

Location: It's about a five-minute walk to either the 74th Street or 82nd Street 7 train stations and less than a block away from 37th Ave., a main drag of the neighborhood.

Why put it on your open house calendar? “Anything with two bathrooms in Jackson Heights is the hot thing,” said Fisher, who called this a “classic Jackson Heights apartment” due to the elevator, historic details and the interior courtyard.

188 Woodpoint Rd., #PHB, East Williamsburg
Two bedrooms/Two baths
Approximately 956 square feet
Condo
$900,000
Common charges: $400 a month
Taxes: $50 a month
Open House: Feb. 28, noon to 1:30 p.m.

Lowdown: Besides two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this East Williamsburg condo comes with another huge perk: two private outdoor spaces.

On the main floor of the apartment, there's a balcony off the living room. “It's just a sitting balcony,” said CORE broker Win Brown. “You could fit little cafe tables or plantings.”

From the second floor, which houses the master bedroom, there's a terrace that faces east and south, toward Bushwick and Queens.

“It's big,” said Brown. “You could do whatever you wanted up there.” The current owners set up lounge furniture, a BBQ and planting pots.

The apartment gets tons of light, Brown said, especially from the glass doors leading to the outdoor spaces. The living room also has double height, 18-foot ceilings with two large windows underneath.

The owners were the first buyers of this condo, built in 2011. They've added central air conditioning and heat since their purchase.

This will be the third open house for the apartment.

Location: This development is located off Graham Avenue, which Brown called “the main attraction east of the BQE.” The drag is lined with bars and restaurants. Trendy butcher the Meat Hook is opening there this week. From the apartment, it's about three blocks to the Graham Avenue L train.

Why put it on your open house calendar? “It's the best price you'll find for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in Williamsburg,” Brown said.

40 W. 67th St., #9D, Lincoln Square
Two bedrooms/Two baths
Approximately 1,150 square feet
Co-op
$2.25M
Maintenance: $2,491 a month
Open House: Feb. 28, 11:30 – 12:30 p.m.

Lowdown: This prewar co-op, located off Central Park West, embodies “old-world charm from a bygone era,” said Nest Seekers International broker Roya Cohen.

The building was designed by Rosario Candela in 1928, an architect known for his graceful floor plans. In this apartment, “there's no wasted space,” said Cohen.

A spacious foyer leads into the living room, which has a working fireplace that “the owner uses regularly,” said Cohen. In that room you'll also see four massive, leaded glass windows.

From the ninth floor, the apartment has three exposures to the south, north and west. “It's not a view apartment,” Cohen said, “It's a light apartment.”

The owner, a chef, has been there 20 years. She remodeled and expanded the kitchen when she purchased the apartment. Currently, it is separated from the dining area by a pass-through window.

Her renovation also added a large walk-in closet outside both the bedrooms. They could be removed, Cohen noted, to create “a more formal entryway.”

Location: The building is a half block from Central Park and within walking distance to the 1 train at Lincoln Center and the B and C trains at 72nd Street.

Why put it on your open house calendar? “It's hard to find this kind of charm with the modern skyscrapers going up all around us,” said Cohen.
