MIDTOWN — Three workers were treated after inhaling a noxious odor from construction material at a Midtown building Wednesday, according to officials.

The workers at 741 Eighth Ave. were overtaken by a “toxic smell” from weather-proofing liquid at about 1:56 p.m., according to the FDNY and Department of Buildings.

One worker was transported to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition and the two other workers were treated at the scene.

The building was not evacuated and there was no carbon monoxide detected, a fire official at the scene said.
