BROOKLYN — If you see a fireball over Greenpoint Wednesday night, don’t call 911.

The Netflix adaptation of popular Marvel comic "Luke Cage" will be filming in the neighborhood on Wednesday night, creating several explosions between 6 and 10 p.m. in the vicinity of North Henry Street, between Greenpoint and Norman avenues, according to a spokeswoman for the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.

The filming will take place at a private residence and will be secured by the NYPD and FDNY, she said.

Brooklyn and Manhattan dwellers may be able to see the fireballs from afar as they are predicted to shoot up to 15 feet. The blasts may occur up to six times during the night, but they are mostly visual and no heavy explosion sound is expected, according to the spokeswoman.

The series, which goes by the production name "Tiara," will star Mike Colter in the title role. The show, produced by Cheo Hodari Coker, is expected to debut this year.
