FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A man was arrested after grabbing a woman's iPhone from her hands when she snapped a photo of him fighting on the subway, police said.
The 30-year-old woman told police she took a photo of Robert Camacho, 34, when she saw him having a fight with another passenger on the train, at about 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 17, according to his criminal complaint from the Manhattan's DA's office.
After Camacho saw her take the photo, he snatched her phone, and fled the train at the Fulton Street stop. He then threw her phone to the ground, according to the complaint.
He was arrested and charged with fourth degree attempted criminal mischief. Camacho was released without bail.
