QUEENS — A new store will soon bring a variety of organic fruit, vegetables and other products to Forest Hills, the owners said.

Sunrise Market is slated to open next Friday at 100-31 Metropolitan Ave., where Sizzler’s party room once was. The remaining portion of the former restaurant, which closed last year, will remain vacant.

The owners said that the new store will offer only fresh and organic products that make “people healthy and happy,” one of the owners said during a phone conversation Wednesday.

The store will serve tea and coffee but won’t carry beer, cigarettes or lottery tickets, they said.

“Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality of fresh and healthy products,” the owners wrote on their website.

Forest Hills has several stores that carry a selection of organic products. Most of them are located on Austin Street and Queens Boulevard, although the Rego Park branch of Trader Joe's, which also offers some organic products, is less than 10 blocks away from Sunrise Market.
