HELL’S KITCHEN — A pizza chain known for its square, thin-crust “Grandma Pie” is opening an outpost on 10th Avenue.

Abitino’s Pizzeria, which has several locations in Midtown and at JFK Airport, will bring a “trendier” version of its slice spot to 730 10th Ave. in the first week of April, co-owner Salvatore Abitino said.

The pizzeria will open in the storefront formerly occupied by Fat Sal’s Pizza.

“We like the area — we’ve been looking in this area for quite a while,” said Abitino, 39, who also owns Uncle Mario’s Brick Oven Pizza at the corner of West 50th Street and Ninth Avenue.

The Hell’s Kitchen Abitino will serve staples like its "Grandma Pie" — which features a garlic bread crust — and a “Creamy Spinach Pizza” with spinach, artichoke sauce and mozzarella cheese.

The eatery also plans to serve new “gourmet” options, Abitino said, though the pizzeria was still working on the menu.

Abitino’s has also applied for a license to serve wine and beer at the 10th Avenue location, according to documents filed with Community Board 4.
