TRIBECA — A new exhibit at the Borough of Manhattan Community College is putting the talents of the faculty on display.

More than 30 BMCC teachers are exhibiting their artwork at the school's Shirley Fiterman Art Center, through March 19.

The showcase, called Art/Works "provides a glimpse of the dynamic, diverse faculty who teach in BMCC’s new Art Foundations program," the school said in a statement. "They guide students in building portfolios of their work and provide them with the fundamental training required for successful transfer to top art and design schools."

The school's new Art Foundations program allows students to earn an Associate of Art degree in Studio Art or Art History, and links to an Art History bachelors degree at Queens College.

A portion of all sales of the art will go towards a scholarship fund for BMCC students.

The Art/Works show will be on display at the Shirley Fiterman Art Center, 81 Barclay St., through March 19.
