MANHATTAN — A winter version of the Lower East Side’s annual Daylife festival is coming to the Lowline Lab.

The planned underground park will host 12 vendors from the Essex Street Market on Sunday, Feb. 21, peddling their wares in the pushcarts Daylife typically brings to outdoor neighborhood spots in the spring.

Admission to the Winter Daylife Pop-Up Food Festival is free. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pain d'Avignon manager Milos Markovic said he's looking forward to "appreciating our regular customers and introducing our products to new people."

Pain au chocolat, almond croissants and ham and gruyere cheese croissants are among the bakery's offerings during the event.

Saxelby Cheese will be there, too, serving up cheese and pickle dogs, made of sour pickle and raclette cheese in a bun, owner Anne Saxelby said.

Food sales will be cash only, according to event organizers.

More information about the festival is available on the event's Eventbrite page. The Lowline Lab is located at 140 Essex St.
