VIDEO: Gun-Toting Robbers Hit Two Grocery Stores, Police Say

HIGHBRIDGE — A pair of suspects robbed two South Bronx grocery stores at gunpoint on Sunday, police said.

The thieves stole about $400 from a grocery store on 1361 Ogden Ave. and an undetermined amount of money from the nearby store at 1398 Ogden Ave. around 9:15 a.m., according to the NYPD.

Although the suspects robbed both stores at gunpoint, no one was injured during the crimes, police said.

Video of the suspects shows them walking briskly down a sidewalk.

Officers described the gunman as a man wearing a red sweater underneath a black jacket, a black mask over his face, white sneakers, black sweatpants and a gray baseball hat. They described the other suspect as a man in blue jeans, a gray baseball hat, a black long-sleeved shirt and black sneakers.
