FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A thief grabbed a man's cell phone from his hand while his victim was still chatting on his phone, police said.

Police said a 30-year-old Staten Island man was inside the Fulton Center, the transit hub at the corner of Fulton Street and Broadway, talking on his Samsung Galaxy, when a thief ran by and snatched the phone from his hands.

The suspect stole the phone just after midnight on Saturday, police said, and proceeded to run into the subway.
