QUEENS — A 16-year-old girl was fatally struck in a hit-and-run early Wednesday morning when she was crossing the street in Rosedale, police said.

The teen was in the crosswalk on Sunrise Highway, near Francis Lewis Boulevard, just after 12:15 a.m., when she was hit by a dark-colored van, authorities said.

The driver did not stop and kept going east on Sunrise Highway, police said.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made as of Wednesday morning, the NYPD said.
