QUEENS PLAZA — A pair of thieves tossed a woman to the ground and snatched her designer purse in Long Island City earlier this month, according to the NYPD.
The two men approached the 30-year-old woman from behind as she was walking home on Crescent Street near 43rd Avenue at 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 1 and pushed her to the ground, police said.
The suspects struggled with the woman, pulling her tan Michael Kors bag from her shoulder, which contained her iPhone 6 and other personal items. The men then fled east on Crescent Street.
The woman wasn't injured in the incident, police said.
The first suspect is described as a 19-year-old man with short black hair, standing roughly 5-foot-9 and weighing 150 pounds. The second was approximately 6-foot-2 and had an afro, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
