SOHO — A woman kicked a SoHo store worker in the leg after she was caught stealing two bags of Cheetos, police said.

The 39-year-old employee of the Spring Iconic Sweet Shop saw the shoplifter grab the snack bags, priced at $1.49 each, on Feb. 3 at about 7 p.m. and try to leave the 203 Spring St. store without paying.

When he confronted the woman, she kicked him on the left leg, causing him to fall to the ground, and cut his finger, police said.

The woman then fled the store, with her stolen snacks in hand.

Police were still investigating the incident.

The store did not immediately return request for comment.
