QUEENS — A man in Rego Park was arrested Monday for possession of a cache of weapons, police and law enforcement sources said.

Police arrested Guo Shou, 33, at 65-60 Weatherole St. on Feb. 8, after officers discovered him and the weapons at about 8 a.m., a police spokesman said.

The stockpile included 17 licensed handguns, 45,000 rounds of ammo, two assembled AR-15 assault weapons and parts for another six and 225 pounds of gunpowder at the unemployed man's home, according to law enforcement sources.

It's unclear why Guo was in possession of the many weapons.

“It could have taken down the building,” a source told DNAinfo New York.

Guo faces two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment, police said.
