BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Whether you’re looking to get romantic with that special someone or hoping to meet a new flame, you don’t need to leave the neighborhood to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

► Everybody Ain't Lovin' Poetry Night
Therapy Wine Bar, 364 Lewis Ave.
Friday, Feb. 12, 7 p.m.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers. Poets are encouraged to bring their love poems and “not so in love” poems for a night of readings and drinks. There’s a two drink minimum for participants and attendees.

Parents’ Night Out with the Katmint Learning Initiative

Friday, Feb. 12, 6 to 9 p.m.

Drop the kids off and grab a bite at some of Bed-Stuy’s well-known eateries with passes from local daycare Katmint Learning Initiative. Children will have their own Valentine’s party at the 545 Quincy St. center with games, face painting, snacks and sing-a-longs while parents can go out to enjoy dinner and dessert deals at participating restaurants and businesses. Spots include Bread Love, Locanda Vini e Olii, and House of Juice.

Participants can enter a raffle to win a dinner for two, valued at $125. The fee for childcare is $35 for three hours. RSVP to info@thekatmint.com.

Channel your inner Van Gogh at Sehiii Gallery’s Valentine’s Weekend special. Fees are $30 per guest or $50 per couple.

Berries & Waffles Toddler’s Brunch and Valentine’s Day Party
Crayons & Culture, 188 Madison St., Ground level
Saturday, Feb. 13, 2 to 6 p.m.

Dress up and chow down at this family brunch hosted by Bed-Stuy children’s center Crayons & Culture. There will be photography, food, spoken word and a dance party for attendees. Tickets are $15 online and $25 at the door. RSVP here.

Paint a Valentine’s Day remembrance with a buzz. The $35 fee covers all materials needed, along with your first glass of wine, beer or whiskey.

The Franklin Avenue eatery is offering a $65, seven-course menu for lovebirds featuring offerings like oysters, short rib and duck breast. Add $35 for a wine pairing.
