CONCOURSE — A man was stabbed to death just steps away from Yankee Stadium in The Bronx on Friday evening, police said.
Jesus "Chewy" Flores, 40, is suspected of stabbing 43-year-old Julio Orosco twice in the left armpit and once in the left tricep at 161st Street and River Avenue around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, according to court documents and the NYPD.
The fight started inside of a nearby McDonald's, and Flores was stopped by off-duty court officers, police said.
Officers also found a 27-year-old man at the scene with a slash wound on his right hand, and EMS workers took both victims to Lincoln Hospital, where Orosco was pronounced dead, according to police and court documents.
Flores was arraigned Saturday on charges of murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon and ordered held without bail. He is due back in court on Feb. 11, according to the Bronx District Attorney's Office.
