VIDEO: Man Opens Fire on Harlem Grocery Store, Police Say

CENTRAL HARLEM — A man opened fire on a Lenox Avenue grocery store before fleeing the scene in a frightening incident that was caught on video, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect walking along Lenox Avenue on Sunday, Jan. 24, at around 8 p.m., pulling out a gun and firing three shots into the windows of the F&Z Gourmet Bodega on 61 Lenox Ave., according to the NYPD.

There were no injuries reported, police said.  

The suspect, who police described as between 25 and 30, fled the scene on foot southbound on Lenox Avenue.
