NEW YORK CITY — Police are looking for a man wanted for questioning in connection with two robberies and another two attempted robberies in recent weeks.

The NYPD believes the man is responsible for the four following crimes:

► Jan. 31 at approximately 8:30 p.m.: The suspect tried to steal a 22-year-old passenger’s cellphone on a northbound C train around St. Nicholas Avenue and West 155th Street, according to police. He cut the passenger’s arm with a knife and fled without the phone. The victim was treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, police said.

► Feb. 2 at approximately 3 a.m.: The suspect used a razor to cut the pocket of a sleeping 4 train passenger as he traveled north near Utica Avenue. The 37-year-old passenger woke up and saw the robber standing over him with the razor, police said. He tried to restrain the suspect who punched him in the face and ran empty handed, according to police.

► Feb. 3 at approximately 7:14 p.m.: The suspect stole two bags of chips from the Spring Iconic Sweet Shop at 203 Spring St. A store employee tried to stop him when the man didn't pay, and fell in the struggle. The victim suffered a small cut to his finger and pain in his leg, police said. The suspect fled westbound on Spring Street with the chips.

► Feb. 3 at approximately 7:50 p.m.: The suspect stole an iPad from a 28-year-old woman on a northbound C train as they passed through the 30th Precinct Uptown, police said. The suspect fled from an unknown station.

Police describe the suspect as being in his 20s. He is 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds with red hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a chain around his neck.
