QUEENS — A group of thieves stole debit card numbers from 7-Eleven patrons in Queens and used the information to make fraudulent withdrawals, police said.

Police said three men placed skimmer devices at ATM machines at various 7-Eleven stores in Central Queens sometime between August and October last year.

After copying debit card numbers and placing them on fraudulent cards, they were able to withdraw more than $3,600 from at least five victims who discovered the unauthorized transactions on their bank statements, police said.

The withdrawals were made between Sept. 3 and Oct. 2, police said.

On Tuesday, police released surveillance images of the suspects. One was wearing a white hat, a white T-shirt and sunglasses when his image was captured on security video on Sept. 3 at a TD Bank at 75-05 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights.

Police also released a picture of two other men captured on the same day at a 7-Eleven located at 99-49 Horace Harding Expressway in Corona.

One of them wore a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans, black and white Jordan sneakers and a black and red hat, while the other donned a black long-sleeved shirt, black jeans, black and white Jordan sneakers and a black hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
