BROOKLYN — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a van in Bensonhurst Wednesday morning, police said.
The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was crossing 65th Street and New Utrecht Avenue when a white van plowed into her at about 6:25 a.m., the NYPD said.
She was taken to Maimonides Hospital where she was declared dead.
The driver remained on scene and wasn’t expected to be charged, the NYPD said.
