SUNSET PARK — A Sunset Park man was fatally stabbed in what may have been a pagan ritual that took a deadly turn, according to police and reports.
Jonathan Rennie, 30, was found with multiple stab wounds on his chest at his 50th Street home near Ninth Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday morning, authorities said.
According to the New York Post, Rennie may have been using a pagan knife to stab himself 13 times in his torso, his wife told the paper.
Rennie was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A knife was found at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
