EAST HARLEM — Talk about marking your territory.

Staff of a fourth floor office space at 145 East 116th Street walked into work Monday to find more than $2,500 worth of supplies missing and the smell of urine coming from the printer and fax machine, according to the NYPD.

Workers had closed the office Friday January 22 about 6 p.m. but found the door busted open Monday January 25 at 9 a.m.

Staff told investigators that they believe the damage was caused by a former employee who was fired from the office two weeks ago.

No arrests have been made and police have not publicly identified a suspect.

Workers reported the stolen supplies included two heaters, two computers, two wall modems, a laminator, a set of speakers, and a garbage can.
