LOWER MANHATTAN — A man's phone was grabbed from his hands by thieves who rode past him on bikes just after midnight on Sunday, police said.

The victim was walking by the base of the Brooklyn Bridge footpath, near the corner of Chambers and Centre streets, when two young men rode up next to him, and one snatched his Samsung Galaxy S6 phone, according to a police report.

The two suspects continued to ride off, at about 12:05 a.m, police said.
