SOHO — A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint on Prince Street by a pair of suspects who snuck up behind them, police said.

Police said the victims were on Prince Street between West Broadway and Wooster Street about 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 when the two came up behind them.

One of the men asked the victim if they had the time, then quickly pulled a gun out of his jacket pocket and said "give me your money," according to a police report.

A second robber told the 27-year-old woman and 29-year-old man, who both live in Manhattan, to "act cool... act normal," according to a police report.

Police said the two suspects took $50 from the man, then searched the woman's pockets and grabbed her purse, which contained her iPhone 6 and $70, before running off towards West Broadway, police said.

The NYPD is still searching for the suspects. They describe them as both being 5-foot-7 and between 25 and 35 years old. One is slimmer than the other and was last seen wearing a black and red baseball cap, a light gray waist-length jacket, dark-colored pants and red sneakers, police said.

The other was last seen wearing a black wool cap, a black waist-length jacket and dark-colored pants, police said.

The 1st Precinct recently increased its presence in SoHo in response to a spike in grand larceny at the area's high-end retail stores.

At least one other gunpoint robbery took place in SoHo this month. Two young women who live on Greene Street were robbed of their wallets, gloves and a selfie stick as they walked home by a man who took off in a waiting car.

Police released the above video of two suspects in the Jan. 16 incident walking on Prince Street. The NYPD asks that anyone with information about the suspects call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
