EAST VILLAGE — The former home and studio of artist Frank Stella was purchased last week for $21.5 million, according to The Real Deal

The property, located at 126-128 E. 13th St. between Third and Fourth avenues, is currently home to the Peridance Capezio Center. It was bought by Milan Associates, affiliated with investor Arthur Minerof, The Real Deal reported.

Peridance and Milan Associates could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.

The Real Deal said the dance center has leased the property until 2028.

Constructed between 1903 and 1904, the stately structure was originally the site of horse auctions.

Stella bought it in 1978 and used it until 2005, according to the Landmarks Preservation Commission, which granted it landmark status in 2012
