PHOTOS: Best Shots of Central Park Covered in Snow

MANHATTAN — While commuters faced dirty snow, slush and black ice during the morning commute on Monday — the scene was more peaceful at Central Park.

The park was the place where many Manhattanites went to play when the snow first blanketed the landscape, but even on Monday, the views were inspiring.
