MIDTOWN — To sleep, perchance to get arrested at the Dream Hotel.

A man who fell asleep on a couch at the Dream Hotel's rooftop bar scratched and punched a security guard who woke him up and pushed another guard into furniture, causing $3,550 worth of damage, police said.

Brandon Wall, 27, who has an Ohio address, was sleeping on a couch at the hotel’s 16th floor bar around 1:15 a.m. Sunday when a security guard tried to wake him up to see how he was feeling, the NYPD said.

After the guard at the 210 W. 55th St. hotel asked him to leave, Wall replied, “I’m not going to leave” and started cursing at the guard and another security officer, police said.

He then punched and scratched the face of the guard who woke him up and shoved the second guard into furniture at the bar, damaging a table, bench, planters and string lights, according to police and the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

Wall was arrested and charged with assault, criminal mischief, aggravated harassment, attempted assault and harassment, according to his criminal complaint.

He was released without bail and is expected to appear in court on Feb. 24, according to court documents.

Management at the Dream Hotel did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

Attorney information for Wall was not available on Wednesday.
