BROOKLYN — A teenager was fatally stabbed in the torso during a dispute in a Williamsburg park Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Jovani Cubias, 17, was with a group of boys and girls in Sternberg Park near Lorimer Street and Montrose Avenue at about 4:36 p.m., when a dispute broke out, an NYPD official said.

One of the boys plunged a knife into Cubias' torso and fled, police said.

Cubias, of East Flatbush, was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital, police said.

There was no immediate arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

An NYPD spokesman on Thursday morning did not have further information about the suspect.
