UPPER WEST SIDE — A woman stole $2,800 in makeup from a MAC Cosmetics shop on Columbus Avenue, police said.
The thief entered the store at 148 Columbus Ave., between West 66th and 67th streets, at 5 p.m. on Jan. 15 and grabbed the thousands of dollars worth of makeup, police said.
She then left the store without paying for the items, of which police could not provide a description, the NYPD said.
The store manager did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
