Teens Assault and Rob Man at Times Square 7 Station, Police Say

MIDTOWN — Two teens attacked and robbed a man Saturday in the Times Square-42nd Street 7 station, according to a police.

The victim was standing in the station’s mezzanine shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 16 when two young men approached him and asked for the time, officials said.

One of the men knocked the victim to the ground and swiped his cellphone, according to authorities.

Police said both thieves were about 18 years old, stood approximately 5-foot-8 and weighed roughly 145 pounds.

Surveillance footage of the attackers shows them both wearing glasses. One suspect is wearing a black vest, dark pants, and a book bag, and the other is wearing a gray hoodie, a blue and white varsity jacket, camouflage pants and light sneakers.
