SUNSET PARK — Police are on the hunt for a man wanted for threatening a 25-year-old victim with a gun in Sunset Park last year.
The male victim was confronted around 1 a.m. in the hallway of his apartment building at Sixth Avenue and 54th Street on Sept. 3, 2015 by a man who brandished a gun, police said.
The two struggled briefly but the victim managed to run back into his apartment, police said. The gunman then fired one round in the victim's direction, but did not strike anyone.
Police are seeking a man wanted in connection to the attempted assault. A video, released by authorities, was captured soon after the incident.
