BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police are searching for three men they say robbed a Lewis Avenue deli at gunpoint, taking off with $4,000 in cash along with property from a customer and employee.

The trio entered Rodriguez Deli at 158 Lewis Ave. near Lafayette Avenue roughly 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 11, police said.

Video released by officials shows two men approaching the counter with a gun and grabbing an employee. Both suspects are seen wearing hoodies, with one in a cap and the other in a beanie.

The two men brandished the weapon and took $4,000 from the register, police said.

Before fleeing, they also took two cellphones and wallets from a customer and employee, according to an NYPD spokesman.

A worker at the deli who declined to give his name said there were two employees and two customers inside the bodega at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit tips online at the Crime Stoppers website.
