QUEENS — A 60-year-old man who police believe was homeless was found dead in a Jamaica park early Saturday, police said.
The man, identified by police as Edwin Ramkhalawan, was found unconscious and unresponsive in Major Mark Park on Hillside Avenue and 175th Street at 7:30 a.m., police said. Officers were summoned to the scene by a 911 call, according to the NYPD.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No criminality is suspected as of now, police said Monday, but the medical examiner will determine the cause of death, officials said.
