FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Long-promised storefronts have finally started to open inside the Fulton Center, Lower Manhattan's $1.4 billion transit hub.

Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, which has several cafes in the city, including at Grand Central Terminal, along with gourmet popcorn shop Pop Karma opened on the main floor of the hub, at Broadway and Fulton, last week.

Over the past several months, the steel and glass hub — topped with a 53-foot glass oculus — had begun to advertise shops that were finally on the way, marking the first signs of retail since the transit center opened in November 2014 with a variety of "coming soon" signs.

While the storefronts lining the circular rotunda in the hub have just started to open, the center has already had its first retail casualty. In August, a kiosk dedicated to men's skincare opened, only to shutter a few months later.

Other food-and-drink-related shops still on their way to the center include popular burger chain Shake Shack, grab-and-go sushi spot, Wasabi, a wine shop called Freedom Cellar Wines, longtime city bakery chain Zaro's and Dunkin' Donuts.

Other storefront that are being advertised inside the Fulton Center include notebook maker Moleskine and glasses store NYS Collection.

Retail giant Westfield, which is also leasing the World Trade Center, owns the storefront space inside the Fulton Center.

Westfield did not immediately return request for comment about timing related to the other stores opening dates.
