HELL’S KITCHEN — A man attacked a dollar pizza shop employee after an argument over heating up a slice, causing hundreds of dollars in damage to the eatery, authorities said.

Jeffrey Adames, 25, was inside The Best Pizza at 748 Ninth Ave. at 9:20 p.m. Jan. 8, when he and the 21-year-old employee started arguing about the slice, the NYPD said.

As the dispute escalated, Adames punched the employee in the face and threw him to the ground, leaving the worker with a swollen left eye and two cuts on his hand, according to police.

Adames also managed to “badly damage” a cash register and display table inside the slice shop during the attack, with repair costs estimated at more than $500, police said.

He was charged with assault, criminal mischief, attempted assault and harassment, the Manhattan District Attorney's office said.

Adames is currently being held on $1,000 bond or $500 bail, the DA said.

A manager at The Best Pizza on Monday declined to comment on the incident.

An attorney for Adames could not be reached for comment on Monday.
