QUEENS — Hoping to better understand the needs of Jamaica residents, a Queens business group has created an online survey, asking locals to share their shopping, dining and health care experiences.

The questionnaire, created by the Queens Chamber of Commerce, which seeks to promote local businesses and commercial areas, consists of 17 questions, directed to residents of Southeast Queens, including Jamaica, Hollis, St. Albans and Richmond Hill.

The survey includes questions about people’s shopping and dining habits, types of businesses they would like to see in their community and healthcare services available in their neighborhoods.

The group will use the results to work on improving “the retail offerings in the area."

It takes no longer than a few minutes to complete the survey and responses are anonymous.
